Fiesta is in the air!
The talented Mamselle Ruiz is a singer-songwriter with a resonant voice. She was already singing at the age of five in her native Mexico, where she fine-tuned her art. In 2010, she settled in Quebec to work with Cirque du Soleil. She launched her album, Maiz, in 2012, which showcased her seductive voice and her raw, emotional delivery.
Named Radio-Canada’s world music “Revelation” for 2013-2014, she was featured at the Montreal Jazz Festival in 2014. She has also performed on various stages in France, Mexico, Quebec, and across Canada. In addition to a successful career, she is involved with Amnesty International, among other charities.
